The
school's mission is to disseminate knowledge. Its tutors, through
their living experience, stimulate students to develop their capacity
to communicate, think and use their critical vision.
Providing education to students from nursery school to junior high,
Colégio Shunji Nishimura is able to focus its work on each
student as class rooms do not exceed the number of 30 students who
share their lives and feelings, in a healthy and harmonious environment.
In addition to the Common main Syllabus (Portuguese, Mathematics,
History, Geography, Arts and Physical Education classes), a diversity
of extra-curricular subjects (English, Music, Religious Studies, Geometry
and Computer Information), have the purpose of enriching students'
Elementary Education. Computer and Corporal Expression classes are
given to students right from age 4, motivating them and contributing
to their educational background.
Optional subjects offered at no extra cost to students from the 1st
to the 8th grade include:

Shunji Nishimura is dedicated to providing a high level of education
to its students.
Today, the results from the work under development can be seen. The
