Jacto
in Argentina - Almost forty years of good services
The
year was 1963. Jacto was shipping its products abroad for the first
time. The fact was a great feat and deserved a suitable commemoration.
Country of destination: Argentina.
Since then, until now, Jacto has always been present in Argentina,
taking to local farmers an important contribution to the increase
in productivity of the farming sector.
Manual
knapsack sprayers were the first products to be exported to Argentina,
while sprayers mounted on tractors started to have a significant market
as of 1973.
Due to strong affinity between the people, culture and farming practices
of Argentina and Brazil, Jacto sprayers have been perfectly satisfying
the needs of Argentinean farmers, without any need for adaptation
or modification to the products exported.
In
Argentina, most farmers who use the most advanced farming techniques
presently available own a Jacto sprayer. Jacto products offer to Argentinean
farmers great benefits due to their superior quality and durability,
low maintenance costs, fewer moving parts and safe and accurate application
of agrochemicals, using state of the art technology, which gives them
a high resale value.

Partnership
In the 80's Rohm and Haas was consolidated as Jacto's main importer,
as they started the professionally demanding task of the introduction
of boom sprayers in Argentina, Jacto made an association with Pulbaires
in 1989. The site chosen to house the new company was San Miguel located
in Greater Buenos Aires. In 1992, Jacto bought the shares of its Argentinean
partner, and changed the name of the company to Multijacto. This was
Jacto's first foreign subsidiary, established in the same country
to which the first export had been made.
In 1995, Multijacto acquired in Arrecifes a property with 17,730 sq.m.,
having 1,350 sq.m. of built area, where it is presently installed
with the purpose of serving better its clients.
Multijacto endeavours to offer high quality products at fair prices,
with excellent technical support. Jacto offers a complete and well
developed range of manual and motorized knapsack sprayers, and tractor
mounted and trailed boom and air blast sprayers, in order to meet
the needs of individual markets worldwide.
Jacto in Brazil is one of the few fully integrated industries in the
world that manufactures such a complete range of agricultural sprayers,
and at the same time develops and produces most of its own components,
such as spraying pumps, filters, nozzles, nozzle holders, tanks, controls
etc: most of its competitors acquire local and imported parts from
various outside suppliers, and merely assemble their products.
